As a visual artist, Gunnar’s creates digital animations, games, and films that often deal with every day and recognizable themes. He is interested in relationships between people and their surroundings and paints situations with an unpleasant undertone in his relatively abstract works. The animations are colorful and hypnotic, but beneath the shimmer are things that we often don’t want to think about. His work analyzes and breaks down these themes into abstract animations to simplify and understand.
